I agree, the Metaverse faces real challenges. We also don't want it to take away from real life (I am thinking of the example we see in Wall*e). In many ways (or our best case), is that the Metaverse may just replace social media altogether-- not as a separate entity but an evolved one that already exists.

What I can get excited for, however, is access. Access to different spaces, people, jobs, and different time zones.
