In the creator economy, we thrive on social media.

It’s our town square where we build a following and audience.

We share our products and make a living from the value we offer.

But too many creators stifle their creativity with social media.

Yes, it’s good to build your brand and network– even to find inspiration– but it cannot be your energy source.

You need real experiences and seasons to produce great (and original) work.

Understanding Cycles

There is time to invest in social media and time to log off.

Most of your best work will come from moments of solitude and deep work.

The more you spend trying to chase likes and connections, the fewer assets you can create.

When you are inspired and have developed a plan. Log off. Schedule posts if you have to.

But place all your energy in idea generation and creation.

When you come out the other side with something valuable, you’ll have a unique and valuable property.

Finding Inspiration
